Tefal Quick Cup
I really like the idea of this. It’s a kettle which gives you hot water in 3 seconds. Not only do you get a quick cup of <insert preferred hot beverage here> you also save up to 60% of the energy a standard kettle would use! Guilt free coffee or tea! As long as you buy Fairtrade that is…

KitchenAid Artisan KSM150
I love Kitchen Aid products, they’re pricey but they have excellent build quality and will last you ages. Don’t fall for the false economy of buying a cheaper mixer which will only last a year or so! I’d have it in Blue as below to match my Kitchen Aid Blender.
Available in lots of colours from Amazon.co.uk for <£325 (click on photo to get latest price)
Okay, I realise some people don’t like the “retro” styling of the Kitchen Aid range so here’s your alternative, the STUNNING Kenwood kMix.

Dualit Hand Mixer
So, if the two mixers above are a bit out of your price range have a look at this beauty. I don’t know what it is about this but I love the way it looks. Good brand, rugged design, perfect for the active cook.

Voodoo Knife Set
Okay, enough of the mixers! This one is pure fun. If you’re a passionate cook who likes to throw things against the wall in fury every now and again (don’t we all) then you’ll love this. Put your knife away by plunging it into the unfortunate Voodoo doll. Great!

Jamie Oliver Flavour Shaker v2
If you’re a Jamie fan and haven’t got one of these yet then now is the time to take the plunge. If you buy from Amazon at the moment you get a free Jamie DVD and the red one is <£10! If you’ve no idea what these are they’re basically a modern take on the pestle & mortar. Just “bung” the ingredients in the Flavour Shaker and give it a vigorous shake to “muller” the ingredients together, “delish” (thanks to Jamie for the words…).
Available in 5 colours from Amazon.co.uk for ~£10 (click on photo to get latest price)
Kitchen Craft Pig Crumb Pet Novelty Tabletop Vacuum Cleaner
Yes! I have one of these (the Cow if you must know). In some restaurants between courses the waiter/waitress comes to your table with some sort of brush/napkin contraption to brush away the crumbs you’ve managed to spread everywhere. I think this would be far more fun, a mini table vacuum cleaner in the shape of an animal! You can choose from a dog, pig, cow, cat, black sheep, white sheep, elephant, duck and… erm… Rubbish Truck!

I hope this gives you a few ideas although it’s probably a bit to late to order in time for Xmas unless you choose Next Day delivery so get shopping!
