Good wine – The Lucky Country Shiraz/Cabernet 2004

This was a good one. I picked up The Lucky Country Shiraz/Cabernet 2004 – Langhorne Creek at Oddbins just before Xmas for just under £8 (~$13?). Looks like it’s currently out of stock online so try instore.

I opened it Saturday morning and enjoyed it Sunday afternoon/evening. A really smooth wine which I could have almost believed was a Merlot with my uncultured palette. I’ve no idea if this has hints of blackberries, smoked bacon or cow dung all I’ll say is that this was a nice wine and worth checking out if you see it.

I really enjoyed this wine, a great four out of five!
