Edit: Read our first review of The Fat Duck here.
I’m finally going to get round to posting my review of the (second) Best Restaurant in the World, The Fat Duck in Bray. Regular readers will know I think Heston Blumenthal is culinary God but I’ll try to keep the review as unbiased as I can.
The review will cover both my visits, one for a very relaxed Saturday lunch where Mrs ITsFood and myself had an à la carte meal, then the other we went “full on” and had the Taster Menu with my brother and his wife.
Now, I’m not a rich man my any means but I don’t mind paying for an experience or for something of exceptional quality. Therefore I was only slightly shocked by the bill for our Taster Menu evening…

I’m sure there’s a joke about this Fat Duck having a Fat Bill somewhere…!
