Slightly off topic but…

…whoever thought the UK children’s cover of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was good must have been drinking too much wine! I can’t help but think it’s a joke…

Kids Edition

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Adults Edition

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

This may be the first edition I buy in the “adult” version. I mean, is it supposed to look like some 70’s Carry On film comedy??
Articles about it at the BBC, Mugglenet and The Leaky Cauldron.

Wine Tech - Angelshare Single Bottle Cellar

Wednesday, 28 March 2007 · 2 Comments

Wow. This is beautiful and I beg all those multi-billionaire readers of IT’s Food (hello? Roman?) to donate one to me immediately! $400+ for a single bottle wine cellar may seem steep as there are cheaper alternatives here but you’ve got to admit, this is a beauty.

Angelshare Single Bottle Cellar

“The Angelshare Single Bottle Cellar has a temperature and humidity controlled chamber to keep that special bottle in a perfect storage environment and have it surrounded in a sleek design that just might be more impressive than the wine its holding.” reports Acquire Mag.

Compact Impact tells us the $405.49 Angelshare is a single bottle cellar for that special bottle of wine…

…in its own temperature and humidity controlled time capsule for that special occasion in the future, whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, graduation or other significant event in your life or of those closest to you. The compact dimensions and elegant, understated design makes the single-bottle cellar a focal point in any setting and an ideal presentation package to treasure.

The unit boasts the following technology…

Controls the temperature at an appropriate level for aging of wine.
If the temperature goes higher than the preset level, cooling operation will be activated. If it goes lower, heating operation will be activated. Accordingly, optimum temperature is maintained in the storage room.

Maintains optimum humidity for aging of wine.
No matter how vastly external humidity may change, inside the storage room humidity is always kept at 65% or more, to prevent potential shrinkage of cork.

Realizes super low noise and super low vibration.
Since no motor nor compressor is used, this mechanism produces almost no vibration. The super silent heat-exhaust fan controls the operation noise at only 15db. You can place the cellar at your bedside without anxiety about being bothered.

Non-Freon,non-compressor.
This mechanism delivers cooling effect without using Freon or other refrigerants, nor using a compressor, being conscientious for environment.

Has three-step temperature settings.
You can select the preset temperature from three-step settings: 12℃, 14℃ or 16℃ that best fits the character of your wine.

Resistant to ultraviolet rays.
A double-panelled half-smoke glass window is adopted to prevent harmful ultraviolet rays from intruding.
